Shiloh House is dedicated to ending childhood trauma and helping Colorado families thrive. Since its establishment in 1985, the organization has provided a range of services, including residential programs, parenting support, educational services, and community initiatives.Target Population: Shiloh House serves boys and girls aged 5 to 17 who are dealing with various behavioral health challenges, such as: Substance use Anger issues Depression Delinquency Self-harm Residential Programs: Home-Like Settings: The residential programs are designed to create a comfortable environment where youth can address emotional and behavioral challenges. Focus on Life Skills and Education: The goal is to help young people develop healthy relationships with their families and communities while teaching essential life skills. Alternative to Detention: One of the key programs is an alternative to detention, where youth can stay for up to 21 days. During this time, they undergo comprehensive assessments to identify their needs and strengths, leading to individualized treatment recommendations. Youth in this program will eventually transition to outpatient treatment.Emergency Shelter Program: Shiloh House also offers an emergency shelter program, providing youth a safe place to stay for up to two weeks or longer as they work towards stability. Supportive Environment: Youth receive behavioral coaching, crisis management, and mental health monitoring. Educational Services: During their stay, clients undergo educational assessments and receive access to educational services. Post-Treatment Recommendations: Each client leaves with tailored treatment recommendations to continue their recovery journey.
