Recovery Place: Savannah

Recovery Place is a leading drug and alcohol rehabilitation center located at 515 East 63rd Street, Savannah, GA 31405. With a team of 45 licensed clinicians, the facility has been dedicated to helping clients overcome addiction for over 30 years. Patients have the flexibility to access recovery services either in person or through virtual care. The range of behavioral health services includes residential services, detoxification, and day treatment. Recovery Place also offers an eight-week educational program for families to better understand how to support their loved ones struggling with addiction.The center provides gender-specific services, including men\'s residential and women\'s programs. Each client undergoes a comprehensive evaluation of their physical, emotional, and psychological health, lasting 60 to 90 minutes. Based on individual needs, additional assessments such as substance use disorder or biopsychosocial assessments may be conducted. If treatment is recommended, the staff will facilitate the admissions process or suggest alternative recovery options. Clients advised for inpatient treatment will spend 28 days in a structured environment focused on healing, participating in cognitive behavioral therapy, support groups, and detox if necessary.Recovery Place also features unique programs like the Professional Resource Program, tailored for individuals in safety-sensitive professions, and the Survivors’ Workshop Therapy Program, which addresses core issues such as trauma and childhood abuse that can hinder recovery.
