At Recovery Cafe, we are dedicated to fostering a safe and welcoming environment for individuals committed to maintaining a drug and alcohol-free lifestyle.Membership and Community Involvement To become a member of Recovery Cafe, individuals must: Commit to Being Drug and Alcohol-Free: Members agree to uphold sobriety while participating in our community. Participate in a Weekly Recovery Circle: Engage in meaningful discussions about your recovery journey in a supportive group setting. Contribute to the Cafe Community: Members help create a positive environment for all. As a member, you’ll enjoy a variety of benefits, including: Free Sit-Down Meals: Enjoy nutritious meals prepared with care. Recovery Classes: Participate in educational programs designed to support your recovery journey. Latte Hours: Relax and connect with others over coffee. Access to Resources: Connect with additional recovery resources as needed. Recovery Circles Recovery circles are small groups of six to ten people that meet weekly for one hour. These circles provide a space for members to check in and share their experiences. Key features include: Facilitated by Trained Recovery Coaches: Our circles are led by volunteers and staff who are trained in recovery coaching. Flexible Attendance: If you can’t attend a recovery circle in person, we encourage you to call in and let us know ahead of time. On-Site Amenities One of the highlights of Recovery Cafe is our additional amenities, which enhance the community experience: Computer Lab: Access resources and stay connected. Board Games: Enjoy fun activities that promote social interaction. Coffee Bar: Relax with a cup of coffee in a welcoming atmosphere. Testing Services: Access HIV and Hep-C testing on-site for added health support. Events and Meetings We host a variety of events to foster community engagement, including: Twelve-Step Meetings: Traditional support meetings for ongoing recovery. SMART Recovery Meetings: Alternative recovery meetings focusing on self-management and recovery training. Social Events: Join us for open mic nights and other community gatherings.
