Florida Sheriffs Youth Boys Ranch is a faith-based therapeutic community dedicated to providing high levels of care for troubled children and teens. Located in Live Oak, Florida, this center serves as the main administrative hub and offers access to a variety of programs and services for youth aged 8 to 18 experiencing substance use disorders, co-occurring disorders, mental health concerns, or behavioral health issues. They also assist youth involved with the juvenile justice system.Key Features of Florida Sheriffs Youth Boys Ranch: Life-Changing Intervention Programs: The organization provides structured support to help youths improve their futures, offering both gender-specific and co-ed residential programs, as well as summer camp options. Residential Programs: These programs are designed to provide adolescents with a loving and stable environment that emphasizes traditional family values. The focus is on developing essential life skills necessary for long-term recovery. Children live in homes with married couples trained in the Trust Based Relational Intervention model, which aids in trauma resolution and helps build lifelong coping skills. Faith-Based Learning: Participation in faith-based learning is integral to the program, based on Christian principles. Children are encouraged to engage in the four pillars of their philosophy: work, study, play, and pray.
