The philosophy of Amethyst House is to provide a foundation for sober living by partnering with individuals, families, and communities impacted by addictions and substance abuse issues, offering quality recovery services and guidance for clean, sober, and healthy living.Amethyst House has a variety of outpatient programs available to address substance abuse and problem gambling issues. Clients need to be clean and sober for a minimum two weeks before starting treatment and maintain abstinence while in the program. They are an abstinence based program. Clients are expected to become involved with Twelve Step recovery programs such as Alcoholics Anonymous (AA), Narcotics Anonymous (NA), and Gamblers Anonymous (GA). Their program also provides support and treatment for family members.Services include:Assessment (substance abuse, problem gambling, co-occurring disorders), Group treatment sessions (intensive outpatient program), Prime for Life (Education and Early Intervention Program), continuing care, individual counseling, family counseling, case management, problem gambling treatment program, Site for enrollment on the Indiana Gambling Commission Voluntary Exclusion Program.
