About This Rehab
Shepherds Fold stands as one of the few remaining re-entry programs with transitional housing and supportive services in the state of Alabama. Shepherds Fold is a transition home designed to address the needs of men at risk of incarceration or recidivism. Our six-month program is designed to provide opportunities that support successful transformations, from the inside out, to empower, strengthen and create productive, contributing members of society. We provide assessments, intervention, and oversight with community partners to ensure top quality care and end results. Our services include: provide food, shelter, and clothing; assistance with obtaining ID cards and driver’s licenses; aid in finding employment; money management and budgeting classes; relapse prevention assistance and outpatient rehab support; peer support groups; help obtaining a GED diploma; education and certifications through Lawson State Community College; Work Faith Birmingham Program; AWTC Construction Trades Training, Cut Above the Rest heavy equipment certification, Samford University Health Screenings, Department of Veterans Affairs services, transportation, personal, relationship and life skills. We also operate an apartment community for graduates from local rehab/re-entry programs.
