Overview:

Retreat Behavioral Health is a world-class, leading substance abuse and mental health treatment facility that prides itself on offering the highest-quality, ethical care. We operate multiple facilities up and down the East Coast, offering comprehensive inpatient and outpatient services provided by our respected team of clinicians, medical professionals, and dedicated staff. Founded in 2011 by President and CEO Peter Schorr, who commanded a breadth of leadership experience in the substance abuse treatment industry, Retreat specializes in offering upscale, luxurious amenities to our patients in a peaceful environment that is conducive for their first steps toward recovery and rehabilitation. Our objective is to ensure that each of our patients leaves our facility having gained key life skills to sustain their sobriety or newfound clarity and lease on life. We accomplish this by ensuring that our care continues after our patients’ inpatient treatment, through thorough after-care and continual follow-up’s. As of the beginning of 2019, we currently operate locations in Lancaster County, PA, and Palm Beach County, FL, with two additional inpatient/outpatient sites on the way and multiple assessment centers that enable us to provide screenings for substance abuse and mental health disorders. We serve individuals and large corporate partners alike, allowing us to reach thousands of people who truly need our leading treatment services. We invite you to explore this designated resource for families of our patients, to gain valuable insight into the treatment process and its unique challenges, and how entering recovery will affect you, your loved one, and your family. Here in this designated space, you’ll have access to information that will help you navigate many of the struggles that come along with substance abuse and mental health disorders particularly when you, as a family member, feel unable to make a difference and you will be able to connect directly with our family-focused counseling team for further information. We invite you to contact us with any questions, and help your loved one take those first steps toward a brighter, healthier future today.
