About This Rehab
Comprehensive Drug Rehab Center Southwest of Minneapolis/Saint Paul, Minnesota
Hazelden Betty Ford's outpatient alcohol and drug addiction treatment program for adults ages 18-plus in Chaska, Minnesota, is conveniently located in the southwest suburban area of the Twin Cities. Our patients and families receive the same high quality, expert addiction treatment services offered at Hazelden Betty Ford Foundation's inpatient programs—but on an outpatient basis, and closer to home and work, with morning and evening sessions to accommodate busy families.
Addiction treatment at Hazelden Betty Ford's outpatient facility in Chaska is gender-specific. The level of care provided, intensive outpatient programming (IOP), typically involves substance abuse treatment sessions that meet, initially, as often as four days a week. Then, throughout your outpatient treatment experience, you will work closely with your counselor to continually gauge and adjust the frequency and focus of your care.
Your pace through outpatient treatment won't be identical to those around you because your treatment plan will be designed to address your specific situation, challenges and needs. As you reach designated treatment milestones, your outpatient sessions at our Chaska facility will gradually transition to once a week.
Like diabetes or hypertension, drug addiction—sometimes referred to as chemical dependency or substance abuse—is a chronic disease with behavioral aspects. Regaining and maintaining your health means learning to manage your symptoms, first within the structure of our outpatient treatment center setting and eventually back in your everyday environment where you're in charge of your health.
