Overview:
Crestwood Medical Center is an 180-bed acute care hospital located toward the south of the city of Huntsville in northern Alabama. Alongside an array of medical services, the hospital offers a behavioral health department, which provides an intensive outpatient program (IOP) for adults struggling with a range of other mental and behavioral health disorders, including depression, anxiety, bereavement, and anger management, plus substance abuse as a possible co-occurring disorder.
The facility offers one of 62 IOPs in the state of Alabama. The behavioral health department doesn’t appear to offer medical detox at this time, however, the hospital does have an emergency room that might be able to help clients in urgent need of detox.
